Privacy Policy Statement

The main provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the "Ordinance") came into force on 20 December 1996. This Statement sets out the obligations and policies of Coreminder Consulting Limited ("Coreminder") under the Ordinance.

Personal Data

To conduct business and offer services, Coreminder may collect personally identifiable information, including, customer’s and company’s name, address, telephone number, information for identity verification including passport or identification numbers, B.R. numbers, and a variety of other information for providing services may be required. The Customer may be requested to supply such information whilst he/she is assessing the Website or for the purposes of providing information or services that the Customer requests.

The provision of data is on a voluntary basis; however, if the Customer does not provide sufficient information, Coreminder may not be able to provide the requested response, information, services or products to the Customer.

Purpose

The purposes for which data may be used include:

(i)    the daily operation of Coreminder ‘s services
(ii)     establishing and serving the Customer as a client of Coreminder and its affiliates or business partners;
(iii)      constructing and maintenance of contact lists and business promotion;
(iv)     determining whether any services or products of Coreminder or its affiliates or business partners are suitable for the Customer and to offer any such services or products to the Customer;
(v)      for any lawful purposes relating to the business and operational activities of Coreminder or its affiliates or business partners;
(vi)       compiling aggregate statistics on website usage and market research;
(vii)      any other purpose required or permitted by law; and
(viii)     any other directly related matters. Without such data, Coreminder may not be able to provide services to its customers.

Copyright Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data of customers held by Coreminder will be kept confidential but Coreminder may provide such information to:
(i) companies affiliated with Coreminder or its business partners;
(ii) any agent, contractor or third party service provider who provides services to Coreminder in connection with the operation of Coreminder’s business;
(iii) any person to whom Coreminder is under an obligation to make disclosure under any law applicable to Coreminder
(iv) any person who owes a duty of confidentiality to Coreminder. Access to and Correction of Personal Data The Customer has the right to obtain access to and to request correction of any personal information concerning himself/herself held by Coreminder. Coreminder may charge a reasonable fee for processing any data access request. Customers have the right under the Ordinance:

- to check whether Coreminder holds records of their personal data
- to obtain a copy of that data
- to correct any data which is inaccurate

If the Customer wishes to access or correct his/her personal data held by Coreminder, the Customer may do so by sending his/her queries or requests by e-mail to Coreminder at its email address published on the Website.
